Retired elementary educational administrator; political & social advocate more
I am in my 60's and just retired from public education in 2013. I was an elementary school principal (pre-K through grade 5.) I did this for 12 years and left because of problems in the district. I am a lead of an OFA group in the western suburbs of Chicago. I am divorced and have two children who are adults and live in a different state and different country.
I have a masters degree and some post graduate work and hope to go back to finish my EdD in education with an emphasis on racial equality in the classroom.
Martin Luther King is a personal hero as well as most of those who worked for him during the early years and currently.
